Well she has 4 eggs now and she would have laid the 5th today and it never came, maybe she's just taking the day off, but I'm pretty sure she's done laying. She's been sitting in the nest all the time now. So in 2 weeks I should have some babies.

Well hold that thought. She only laid 4 eggs and all the nesting material came out of the nest and one egg went missing, the guy I got them from said they must have ate it and she's not sitting anymore. So I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to throw out the eggs. But I was kinda wondering if I should toss them in the bator to see if I could hand raise them, but I HIGHLY doubt it because they will be pea size when hatched and it's hard to keep a baby pigeon alive from hatch and they are the size of adult zebras.

Ohh good, so you can say something other then sounds good lol. I'm going to toss the eggs out tomorrow, stuff the nest full of nesting material and hope they get laying again real soon and hatch these.

Ok So I went to toss the eggs and a second egg went missing. So I tossed the other two and filled the nest with long pine needles. I really stuffed the thing. Well they worked it all out of the nest. So I left it empty for awhile. Then I noticed a piece of cuttle bone in the nest as well as some news paper from the bottom of the cage. So I pulled that out and I put a leaf in the bottom of the nest. I figured that the leaf would help keep nesting material inside of it. And if it all came out they would still have the leaf. So then I added nesting material and then today she laid a egg. So I was lucky I got nesting material set up in time. I hope they sit on these eggs, hatch them, and raise them up.

Well she didn't raise the eggs. She laid one egg and sat that night. Then the next day they ate that egg, plus the second egg she laid was eaten and I never saw another egg. On another forum someone said to put a larger egg then they would lay to make them want to sit. I told them the smallest thing I could get would be a fake pigeon egg and they said that would be fine. So I put that in the nest and I'm waiting for them to start laying. But I gotta move the leaf back in place because they moved it and all the nesting material is coming out AGAIN.
