I think it's about even between show breeds and flying breeds. I would have to say that Racing Homers are by far the most popular. But it also depends on where you are. For instance here in the US lahores are used for show only. Well in Europe (I think it's Europe) they are more a flying breed. As for shows there are a few thousand or more, I'm not sure. I do show.

I usually take around 30 or so. Of course that's in more then one breed. I usually take 4-5 breeds.

There are quite a few, I go to 3 shows in NY, a few in PA, and NJ, then there is the NYBS in KY and then where ever the national is. The national moves all over the country. Last year it was in Alabama and this year it's supposed to be in cali, they have the next 3 national places set up already. There are plenty more shows, but you just can't make them all. The shows are pretty stressful on the birds so you have to give them breaks, I usually end up with 2 show teams and I still can't make anymore shows.
Don't you get the Pigeon debut lewis? It has a calendar of all the shows submited in the back. I try to get them in the calendar here on TBB, but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet. I did put in a few but not all of them yet. I wish nick would get his rear back here so I could make him do it.
